New Life Pre School and Nursery and has been accredited by the Pre School Learning Alliance, for the provision of quality education and care in accordance with the standards of the Alliance. We are OFSTED registered for 40 (12 under 2’s and 28 between 2 & 5) children per session and received a grade of "OUTSTANDING" on our last inspection in April 2010. We also offer free educational places for 3 & 4 year olds, subject to availability. Opening Times The pre-school operates at NLCC from 8.00am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday all year round. Who is it for? Full and part time day-care and education sessions for children aged from birth to 5 years old are provided, we welcome children of all faiths and creeds but as a Christian Pre School, we recognise and practise Christian values, celebrating with the children festivals such as Christmas, Easter and Harvest. Availability We welcome enquiries from parents and carers regarding availability as there is currently a waiting list for spaces. The broad and balanced curriculum and extensive range of play and learning equipment ensures quality of learning through play for the under fives. We have our own children’s library, outdoor play area and wide range of resources promoting children’s learning. Qualified staff led by manager Lorraine Reid, perform regular detailed observations on each individual child enabling them to meet with the key stages in each area of their development Fees The education sessions are charged according to your child’s age : Birth to 24 months or 2 – 5 years and our sessional hours are: Full Day 8.00am to 6.00pm Half Day 8.00am to 1.00pm & 1.00pm to 6.00pm Baby Room Fees are charged at a daily rate of £31.00 or half day rate at £19.00. Additional hours or care sessions tailored to your needs would be charged at the hourly rate of £3.80 per hour. 2 – 5 Room Fees are charged at a daily rate of £30.00 or half day rate of £18.00. Weekly rates are available on request. Children that attend over lunch time period – 12.00pm to 1.00pm – will receive a hot meal charged at £1.00 per day. Other snacks and drinks are included throughout the day at no additional charge. New Life Pre School Stay and Play Our Stay and Play Group meets every Tuesday and Thursday morning from 9.30-11.30am. The group meet in the main hall of the church, and access is from the side entrance on Market Street.
