The silence of God

Does God stay silent when mankind suffers or did he come to identify with sufferers and suffering when he sent Christ into the world?

Will he stay silent and let the guilty and wicked get away with it or is there a judgement to come? What about all your troubles-where is God?

Christianity has to accept that there are difficult questions that we cannot answer-to try is often an evasion of the truth.

Some things happen to good people that I cannot explain and in the words of Madame Guyon

If knowing answers to lifes questions is absolutely necessary to you, then forget the journey. You will never make it, for this is a journey of unknowables, of inanswered questions, enigmas, incomprehensibles, and most of all,things unfair.

Life can be tough, and often is and at these times we do wonder where is God?

Heres a thought If God showed up every time, delivered everytime, if everything was always rosy and there was no room for doubt-what would be the need for faith?

Faith says I trust God even if he slay me or dosnt come to the rescue-a promise to hold onto is that God will never leave us nor forsake us..even through the valley of the shadow of death.

God is never silent, he speaks in creation daily, in Christ daily and in and through you and me daily.

If you have any questions he will hear them but answers , well they may come immediately, in time or not at all.

The question is When God seems to stay silent-will you trust him still?

My hope and prayer is that we will all have such faith and you can whatever youre going through right now
